After learning these phrases, try testing your knowledge by a taking a vocabulary quiz or two online to make sure you know how to pronounce the phrases and that you know the definitions. When you are actually in the country, don’t be afraid to use your hands or point to what you want to find . This technique will help especially if you are in any kind of store attempting to buy a specific item. Finally, it is important to remember to try not to become angry and grouchy. Acting frustrated will only make the situation worse because most of the time the local people do want to help you, but they will be put-off by a bad attitude.
