Gas prices are going so high that right now it can really pay off to save some gas all the time.
One of the first things you might want to do is to check your automobile if there’s anything inside that you can take out. The more stuff you’ve in your automobile, the more fuel it consumes. And the more gas it uses, the more you pay. I DON’T want to encourage you tounload anything that you would meet in an emergency, like your first aid kit. Keep that in your automobile. But is there something that is not really necessary, maybe, that is in the trunk of your vehicle? If you keep that in your automobile you are paying excessive money for your gas.
Another simple but very effective thing you can do is to your routes. That can make a enormous difference. The better organized you’re, the less money you’ll spend on gas.
For example, think if you can pick up the children from school and do the groceries on the same route. This way you won’t have to drive two times back and forth. That can make a really huge difference in your gas consumption and in your wallet.
Another thing to do is to use Google maps, which are very easy to use and an fast trick of determining what the shortest way is to go from one place to another place.
Intuitive driving, cruising around with you isn’t exactly what you want to do these days anymore at the crazy gas prices. And in fact you shouldn’t do it anyway, not just because costs so much, but also because your vehicle is emitting CO2 in the atmosphere. And while the gas prices might give you some hard money times these days, global warming and the climate crisis can cause a lot of suffering for our children if we don’t change our behaviour now.
One of the best resources on gas savings is a free website that’s called savinggas.org
